WHAT IS CE MARKING?

  • Mechanical resistance and stability
  • Fire safety
  • Hygiene, health and the environment
  • Safety of use
  • Noise protection
  • Energy economy and heat retention

The European standards for the glass blocks is EN 1051-2

THE AIM OF CE MARKING

CE marking is not just about marking products, but about implementing a single European market. Construction products will circulate freely within the EU, without any restrictions imposed by individual countries. Their only mandatory assessment will be the CE marking procedure based on European standards(EN). No country will be allowed to impose additional requirements covering the same aspects as CE marking, either de facto or through national legislation.

CE marking will be the only way to show that a product is suitable for the European market. The application of EN standards ensure that products are evaluated in every EU country according to the same procedure. EN standards will supersede all national standards.
