60F Clearview Sahara 2S

Glass block 1919/16 60F has a structure with high mechanical resistance to the action of flames, the propagation of fire, smoke and heat for 60 minutes (value F60 according to German norm DIN 4102-3).

This class of resistance gives the structure not only stability and strength but also limits the passage of heat radiations, thus also preventing the heating of objects placed in the environments protected by the glass blocks.

Glass block 1919/16 60F is available in the smooth glass design and with three finishings (transparent, sand blasted on 1 side or on 2 sides) combining safety requirements and aesthetic values.

Due to their specific performance, 1919/16 60F glass blocks are used in buildings destined for public use (hotels, schools, nursing homes, restaurants, cinemas, etc.) and in buildings where flammable or combustible materials are stored and/or handled.

In all these cases the vertical installation of fire-resistant glass blocks must be carried out following the indications in the product certifications and all necessary precautions must be taken to ensure the rapid evacuation of people in the case of fire.

Fire Resistant glass block offers high thermal stability, protecting both vertical and horizontal structures and facades from smoke and fire.
30, 60, 90 minute class of fire-resistant glass block to provide structural stability and strength while protecting objects and people from the passage of smoke, gas and flame.

Seves Glassblock submits the “fire resistant” glass blocks to strict quality controls which raise their mean resistance and enable the stability of the panel and its heat insulation quality to be verified over time.
