Tiberio’s Bath

Tiberio’s Bath

THE GLASS BLOCK CREATED FOR BALNEARIO DE PANTICOSA LOCATED IN THE SPANISH PYRENEES.
THE HARMONIOUS UNION BETWEEN NATURE AND PRODUCT “TO SIZE”.

Made by Moneo Brock Studio

The thermal palace is situated between nature and the urban resort compound and was therefore renovated to live harmoniously within the two contexts. The entire building facade was designed to filter in the natural sun light without the glare, and allow the fluid passage of external light. 30,000 glass blocks were used.

The installation was completed by vertically laying one glass block on top of the other, matching the larger base of top block with the smaller base of the under laying block.

The effect is a facade that seems to dance in the wind as if it were made of magic leaves of glass.

The final result will be a coffer of wellness in the Spanish Pyrenees comprised of 4 different areas with gyms equipped for every type of sport, large swimming pools with thermal uses, restaurants, and relaxation zones immersed in the nature of the Spanish mountainside.
