Imperial Size

Thermal transmittance is measured through the U value. This value tells us how much energy passes through the building element we have constructed.

A very low U value indicates that the construction element has an excellent insulating capacity and this information is useful for the design of high performance external facades.

Energy Saving Glass Block:
U=1,4 W/m²K

The total U value is lowered by about 50% with a considerable saving in term of energy consumption.

Energy Saving Glass PLUS:
U=1,1 W/m²K

The total U value is lowered by about almost two thirds compared to a traditional glassblock
