Glass block BG 1919/8 30F, installed horizontally (with less than 15° inclination), provides a structure with a high mechanical resistance under the effect of flames, the propagation of fire, smoke and heat for 30 minutes (value F30 according to German regulation DIN 4102-3).

This class of resistance not only gives the structure stability and strength but also limits the passage of heat radiations thus also preventing objects placed in the environments protected by glass block walls from overheating.

Glass block BG 1919/8 30F is available in the smooth glass design and with three finishings (transparent, sand blasted on1 side or 2 sides) combining the need for safety with aesthetic values.

For their specific performance, F series blocks are used in buildings destined for public use (hotels, schools, nursing homes, restaurants, cinemas, etc.) and in buildings where flammable or combustible materials are stored.
